The Right Reverend David Greenwood was born September 14, 1963, in Camrose Alberta, the son of the Reverend Adrian and Joan Greenwood. Greatly blessed by Christ, David is happily married with four children and thirteen grandchildren.

He worked for thirty years for a large Canadian oil company before retiring from that line of work. After being a vocational Deacon for ten years, David was consecrated as a Priest for the Anglican Church of Canada in 2015, and then bishop of the Diocese of Athabasca on February 21, 2020.
